Chrystal Alvarez is the Senior Program Director and she is responsible for overseeing Prevention Rampart 1, Rampart 2 and Reentry contracts. Chrystal has a Bachelor’s in Social Work from CSULA and plans to pursue her Masters in the future. She began working in GRYD Intervention in 2013 and has been working at El Centro del Pueblo since 2017. With 10 years of Gang Reduction Youth Development experience she has contributed to decreasing gang violence in the Rampart zone. In her free time Chrystal enjoys spending time with her family watching movies and taking road trips.
